The Mission Creek Greenway is expanding. Last Friday the province announced that it is providing 2.83 hectares of parkland to allow the city of Kelowna to complete a network of trails running along the creek side.
The land from the BC government is being provided through the
provincial sponsored Crown grant program. The land has an assessed
value of $473,700 it will fill the gaps in the Mission Creek Greenway
Regional Park and it allows the city to expand the popular walking,
biking and running trails.
If you have never been to the Mission
Creek Greenway you really should head down there, it is a beautiful
place. Here is a photo of Mission Creek Greenway.
