Kelowna to Light Up on Saturday

It is called the Downtown Kelowna Light Up, but it is so much more than just lighting up the Christmas Tree at Kerry Park tomorrow Saturday December 1st. Light Up is an all day event with activities for the whole family to take part in all over the downtown area. Come downtown and check it out you can skate on the outdoor rink at Stuart Park or play street hockey on the plaza just outside Prospera Place or go up in a hot air balloon at Kerry Park. You can also make a paper lantern light at Kelowna Art Gallery or have the kids write a letter to Santa or have their picture taken with him, take in the movie Polar Express at the Paramount Theatre, get your face painted and see the clown at Towne Center Mall, eat cookies I mean decortate cookies at the Laurel Building or take the kids to story time at the library and maybe you can sneak in a much needed rest, I am sure you will need if you take all this in!

Make sure you save some energy to see Santa arrive and the tree light up at 6 pm!
